Underline or Italicize ?!?!?

I have noticed that some students paper's had titles of articles and books underlined. When I looked in the Writer's Resource I do not see titles "underlined" at all. Am I mistaken that they are supposed to be "Italicized" for current MLA format? Does anyone know?

And yes... I do know that sites such as Easybib.com do underline them, but I DO NOT see it being done that way in our book.

Can anyone help with this?

A) the answer is NO on underlining. Refer to Writer's Resource for examples of how to properly cite individual sources. I asked Mrs. Terry in class, and she agreed that we do not underline. So if you are using a cite such as easybib.com make sure to check WR for corrections to the work cited page.

HEYA GUYS!

Hey there. It's me, Jenn. I started this blog to help us all along our way in the production of our research papers. Once I send you an invite to become an author of this blog, you can get started. After becoming a blog author.... all you have to do is click create post to get started. If you would like to comment on a blog you just click on the comment button. If you would like to add to a blog (for example if it is an ongoing discussion/chat just click "edit" blog). If you click "view blog" you will see all posts made to the blog. There is an archive list at the bottom of the page allowing you to view all posts and move freely between them. Feel free to ask questions, share advice, or thoughts, constructive criticism as well. You can add to each others posts, or create your own. Good luck guys and hope this will help :)
